Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

All Events Hiring – Malelane, Mpumalanga

1. Booking Deposits

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings.

  • Deposits confirm reservation of equipment and dates.

2. Cancellation Refunds

Refunds are processed based on when the cancellation is made:

  • 7 days or more before the event:
    Full refund of all payments made (excluding admin or banking fees).

  • 3–6 days before the event:
    50% of the total booking value will be refunded.

  • Less than 48 hours before the event:
    No refund will be issued.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be given in the following cases:

  • Failure to collect or receive equipment at the agreed time

  • Incorrect quantities ordered by the Client

  • Change of mind after equipment has been delivered or collected

  • Early return of equipment

4. Refunds for Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • If equipment is delivered damaged, faulty, or incorrect, the Client must notify the Company immediately upon delivery or within 2 hours.

  • The Company will either:

    • Replace the item (subject to availability), or

    • Issue a partial or full refund for the affected items

5. Damage Deposit Refunds

  • Any damage deposit paid will be refunded within 2–5 working days after collection, provided:

    • All items are returned

    • No items are damaged or missing

  • Deductions will be made for any loss, breakage, or cleaning fees.

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) only.

  • Refunds may take 2–7 working days to reflect, depending on the bank.

7. Force Majeure

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond control (e.g., extreme weather, government restrictions), refunds or credits will be considered at management’s discretion.

8. Acceptance of Policy

  • By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to this Refund Policy.

What to include in the Refund Policy

Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.
